Clear Lake Fishing Club Meetings

We held our January meeting in preparation for the 2012 Classic. The Next meeting will be Wednesday February 15th at Bennigans restaurant with social hour starting at 6:30 and the meeting beginning at 7:00.

Sorry about the delay in the updating of the web site, had some difficulties in getting the updates to saved. That issue seems to be resolved.

 This month we discussed progress on preparation for the Classic. The meeting room and bandshell have been reserved. An application with the city has been submitted. The rules meeting will be held Friday May 18th at the Ventura Community Center. The 2012 TAKE-A-KID Fishing Tournament will be held Saturday June 2nd, the DNR could use a few volunteers to help out with this event. If you are available, please give me a call (Jeff Giesman 641-425-3405). We discussed holding a second tournament this year. Tentatively we are looking at the weekend of Spetember 15-16 as the weekend we would hold one if there is enough interest, we included a questionaire on the classic application.

Applications have been finalized and are in the mail so you should be receiving them shortly.
